New K-suite update 3.16

This week, our Research & Development team has focused on K-TAG. Today we propose you many new supported vehicles: not only cars, but also trucks, commercial vehicles and tractors!

Update your K-Suite to Version 3.16 and you’ll be able to work on a lot of new vehicles and manage the control unit of both engine and automatic transmission of Continental SIM2K-240.

Working directly with K-TAG on an open ECU, gives you the advantage of having the full control over it: you’ll be able, for example, to read and write the ECU Continental SIM2K-240 of two among the most widespread brands of Asia and of the world: Kia and Hyundai. The ECU Continental SIM2K-240 is managed by two microprocessors: TC1767 and TC1766. The micro Tricore TC1767 includes the engine management maps, while the micro Tricore TC1766 includes the maps that manage the automatic transmission. As of today, they are both supported! So, you’ll be able to read the operating parameters with K-TAG, tune them with the software ECM Titanium, and then write back the ECU using K-TAG!

In addition to cars, we’ve also focused on trucks, heavy vehicles and commercial vehicles: we’re today introducing the new protocol for the ECU Continental CM2250 Volvo. Reading and writing of the 14.9L Cummins ISX15 engine equipped with ECU Continental CM2250 available with KESSv2 and now even with K-TAG.

We’ve also developed new protocols to optimize the reprogramming of the ECUs Delphi DCM3.7 and DCM3.7 AP of VAG group, Kia, Hyundai, GMW, SsangYong and many other brands. And from now on SAIC MOTORS and LDV vehicles equipped with Bosch EDC17C81 and FCA group vehicles equipped with Bosch ME17.3.0 are supported too.
