CVN on vehicles from VAG

We continue to work on one of the most important and discussed issues of recent months, namely, the issue of CVN tracking. After the release of protocols 628 and 629 for BMW, we decided to focus on the cars of the VAG group. Now CVN is no longer a problem for Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen with Bosch EDC17 med17 ECU!

CVN (Calibration Verification Number), is the checksum of calibration of the file recorded in the ECU. CVN monitoring involves checking the conformity of the factory calibration in the control unit, which has been recorded by the vehicle manufacturer.

Now on the Bosch MED17 and EDC17 blocks of the VAG group, the CVN of the modified file will always match the string. This means that you will be able to work through the OBD connector with the KESS v2 tool, as well as "on the table" with the K-TAG tool, without any additional protocols and additional costs
